If you are going through Hell don’t stop to ask the locals for directions nor slow down to take in the sights, just fall down to your knees to speed up the journey, shut your eyes to see the path that has already been cut, close your ears to all the naysayers so you can hear the Spirit of Grace, lift your hands into the air so you can be pulled up and use your tongue to propel you into freedom. What a wild and unusual kingdom we are part of and how beautiful is the way it works.

What if there is a map with instructions to direct you on your journey?
Ever walked into a busy mall, amusement park and spotted that trusty map with a big red star saying, “You are here”? Or been given an events map during Daytona bike week. It’s like a beacon of hope in the chaos, right? A guiding light to help you figure out where you stand, where you want to go and what is the best possible route to get there.
Now, think about life. How cool would it be to have a map like that for our journey? A map that unravels our story—where it all began, the twists and turns, and what’s waiting around the corner. A map that doesn’t just show us the way, but has clues for fulfilling our purpose and destiny and outlines the ultimate outcome. If only we had a guide to navigate the challenges of life and understand out place in the grand narrative. Wouldn’t that be something?
A partial tale in the start of my journey;
If you are interested; My life journey shares a significant parallel with the narrative shown in the movie ‘Machine Gun Preacher’ (rated ‘R’ – trailer below). Those that knew me closely will attest to my following this hardcore lifestyle.
Sam Childress embarked on a mission to aid children in Sudan, my path diverged, unfolding in a unique manner. My story encompasses teaching – from a biker’s perspective, the relevance and rewards of learning and applying the law of Pneuma Zoe.
The story (one of many);
Returning from a drug run my friend Jimmy and I had just scored 1 bail of Colombian gold some sweet smoke at the time, a significant parcel of uncut cocaine, various drug forms of mental entertainment, and a camper truck full of other illegal paraphernalia, all while still having $10K in cash still with us in his briefcase.
At 3:00 in the morning we were traveling through a small town in Maryland in a Old Chevy truck with a camper loaded with the items previously listed. Jimmy and I of course were stoned and trying to maintain a pseudo appearance of two lawful citizens on a business excursion or fishing trip or a convention for recovering rednecks.
Anyway, as you can imagine that did not go as planned, especially since Jimmy was driving with his head out the window with one eye closed as to keep the truck straight and not arouse any suspicion.
There was no activity on the streets as we made our way down the main corridor of this small incorporated town. Even if there were bustling activity we were confident our disguise would fool even the most astute citizen.
As we approached the end of Main Street on our way out of town a police cruiser quickly pulled out and darted right up on us and drove about 5 feet off of our rear end.
Jimmy reaches down and pulls out a loaded 357 magnum and states “I’m not going to jail”… I said… “neither am I”.
Just as fast as that trooper came up on us he disappeared down a side street.
Divine intervention? … As I look back I am convinced that it was.
This was one of many incidents, but this one left a profound impact on my life, prompting deep introspection.
Did I reach a point of no return?
The mere contemplation of the situation unfolding differently sent shivers down my spine.
Despite cultivating a tough persona as a fearsome gunslinger throughout my life, the question lingered—would I have taken a life over a minor score of drugs, or gave my own? Would I have sacrificed everything for a misdirected decision? To this day I even shudder to think of the consequences of my actions that night.
It wasn’t that I hadn’t been in altercations before. I had, I’ve been in knife fights, shot, barroom brawls, gang fights, the list goes on and on , but this was a point that cut me to the quick.
My family, the officers family, and over what??!
Introspection proved challenging, and I wrestled with the weight of my actions.
The search for assistance and hope seemed elusive. Who cared about my plight, and was there any redemption left for me?
Why am I telling you this life story? Because some of you have similar stories, been there done that, some of you are still in the pit wondering is there any hope and some of you… have forgotten you were once there and was set free, but now look down suspiciously on those still caught in that pit.
And then some of you haven’t been in that pit but want answers for loved ones who are there or heading in that direction…
I wrestled for years through various sources—an internal witness that kept whispering that I was created for so much more, (if you listen closely we all have that still small voice speaking softly to us) the prayers of a devoted sister, and momma, people passing through my life planting hope.
Until one night I made a decision to become the man that I was called to be all along. (More to this story at a later time).
But insights from radical group of people which believed in the supernatural power of that the previously mentioned road map , fellowship with unconventional believers. and the wisdom that exuding from those ancient writings, instilled life and purpose into my heart.
Although shrouded in secrecy, mystery and magic, this ancient text will come alive with remarkable relevance and authenticity, providing a guiding light through ones journey.
I shared this story because, regardless of your past, actions, or current circumstances, there is help available. Every experience, no matter how dark, can be harnessed to unveil the hero within if you allow it.
Whether you’re undergoing the torment of introspection due to past experiences or feeling paralyzed by current circumstances, there is hope. It’s time to wake up and discover the true hero within you.” To discover your true identity, who you really are.
Everything that you have went through up till now, all the regrets, pain, suffering, wrong choices, all of it can be turned for your good and used to acquire great rewards once you realize the grand narrative of your journey and the law of Pneuma Zoe.
The way this is possible is for you to you allow the words off of the pages of this ancient leather bound manuscript to come alive and write upon the tablets of your heart.
We can discover the Story and the critical part that we play in this grand narrative.
Maybe not with perfect transparency, maybe not with all the detail that you would like, but in greater clarity than most of us now have, and that would be well worth the price of admission…
I mean, to have some clarity would be worth it’s weight in gold right now. Wouldn’t it?
There is a map you just have to know how to read it.
The admission is free but the journey will cost you… but understand the price is so worth the adventure and the payout at the end borders on scandalous prosperity.
I leave you with this quote from the “Lord of the Rings”- “Fate has chosen them, a fellowship will protect them, Evil will hunt them”.
Fear not for it gives the Father great pleasure to give you the kingdom.
