“The warrior spirit is ingrained in every individual, a reflection of being created in the image of God—the Great Warrior. This truth is foundational to human existence, as it aligns with a significant aspect of one’s mission on Earth: to join the Great Warrior in His quest against evil.”

The Lord will march out like a champion, like a warrior He will stir up His zeal.

With a shout He will raise the battle cry and will triumph over His enemies. Since you are precious and honored in My sight, and because I love you, I will give nations inexchange for you, and peoples in exchange for your life. Brind my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth – everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made. (Isaiah 42:13, 43: 4 – 7)

In the world’s darkest moments, love emerges as a guiding light. Despite our betrayals, idolatry, and persistent unbelief, God’s unwavering love pursues us, triumphing in the redemption of mankind. Jesus of Nazareth, the great Prince and son of the King, sacrificially gives His life to rescue His beloved.

Christianity unfolds as the world’s greatest love story. An epic set right in the middle of a “warzone”.

This narrative is ongoing, even as you read these words. The epic clash between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness persists, both vying for the human heart. At its essence, this ancient struggle revolves around a crucial question:

Can a kingdom of love ultimately prevail? God asserts that ‘love never fails’ (1 Corinthians 13:8), while skeptics, the world, and even something within us may scoff. It might sound remarkably naive—love never fails? In a world that seems prone to failure, this notion challenges common understanding.”

“A crucial mistake individuals can make is failing to recognize their surrounding environment.

Just as one wouldn’t flaunt $100 bills in downtown Seattle or wear an ‘I love the USA’ t-shirt in a terrorist camp, we often navigate life in ignorance default, attributing misfortunes to mere idiosyncrasies.

In reality, we are engaged in a war.

The story of your life is the story of the long and brutal assault on your heart by the one who knows what you could be and fears it.

Recognizing this struggle is essential for understanding much of the Bible and making sense of your life.

In the midst of this conflict there are three  challenging truths to grasp: ‘My heart is good’ My heart is the hiding place of my power, and ‘My heart matters to God.’

Holding onto these beliefs can be among the most difficult yet transformative aspects of personal growth.”

Let me inform you of a vital truth. You do not escape spiritual warfare simply because you choose not to believe it exists or because you refuse to fight. The bottom line is you have to fight for your heart or you will be enslaved, there is no middle ground..

“It is the image of God reflected in you that so enrages hell; it is this at which the demons hurl their mightiest weapons. – William Gurnall’

Awake, awake, O Zion, clothe yourself with strength… shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, O Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. (Isa.52;1,2)

“Take courage, my friend, as our powerful weapons, bestowed by God, operate from a foundation of peace and are fueled by an intimate understanding of our identity. With this revelation, these weapons come to life through the practice of praising God, speaking truth, and aligning our actions accordingly.

This is not merely a Sunday ritual or reserved for Christmas and Easter; it is a lifestyle. Embracing this way of life brings forth victories to savor, promising immense rewards both in the present and the ‘hereafter.’ It’s not a complex task; it’s a matter of awakening to the realization that the battle belongs to the Lord.”

I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord the God of Israel, who summons you by name. (Isa. 45:2, 3 )

“Doesn’t that seem a bit… exaggerated? Can we really expect God to move mountains for us? Most of us would settle for help to get through the week or even just finding a parking space at the mall. The idea of heroic interventions may sound appealing but seems unrealistic in our modern context – this isn’t ancient Samaria.

However, the notion of ‘treasures of darkness’ and ‘riches stored in secret places’ sparks curiosity. Who wouldn’t be interested in uncovering hidden treasures?

Approaching the scriptures with our rational minds, it might seem like fantasy – good poetry, inspiring stories, and a lot of history, but lacking relevance to our present situation. Yet, when viewed through the eyes of the heart, a supernatural transference takes place. Suddenly, the language makes perfect sense, revealing that things are not as they seem. We are at war, and that war is against the very core of who we are – our heart, our glory.

Consider Isaiah 6:1 with the eyes of your heart: ‘He has sent you to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.’ (Isaiah 6:1)”

In the journey of life, our battles find strength in prayer, commence with praise, and unfold through aligned actions.

Each victory becomes a moment to savor, offering not just success but also a source of empowerment and strength for the challenges ahead.”
