Misinterpretations of the intentions and nature of our creator abound.
This ends up leaving many disinterested in exploring beyond the concept of “fire insurance” and causing doubt about His plan. We don’t know what in the hell to think so a pervasive belief takes root – that we don’t measure up, we don’t deserve a savior and that our only hope is to be deemed good enough.
Maybe God will grade on the curve, or God is merciful enough to allow us to gain acceptance into His kingdom.
When God placed man in the garden, He assigned him to “keep” the garden, This directive signifies guarding and protecting. Evidenly, an enemy already existed.
It is important to note that this command was given BEFORE the fall of man. I often wonder how many times Adam kicked Satans ass before he had to disguise himself as a serpent to inact his deception. (just a thought)
Moving on, The original location of the battleground was the Garden of Eden. That has changed, but, the orders have remained unaltered thoughout history.
God has taken the garden and replanted it deep within your core – it resides in your heart. The book of Proverbs unambiguously emphasizes “keeping” your heart, the same directive is given as the one in the Garden of Eden… There is an enemy and he wants to destroy you.
Now, in bringing light to this story there is a major revelation that you should be aware of… YOU are the author of your story. God has given everything you need to complete an immense chronicle, but you are in charge of the writing of that story.
You get to decide. It can be a short documentary on how to barely get by in these crazy times, or an epic on mighty exploits in the face of danger. To what degree these stories reach is totally dependent on you.
If you grasp the essence, purpose, and ultimate goal of this age-old narrative, truly comprehend the prosperity awaiting you, and awaken to the divine desire for your abundance, you would devour this ancient manuscript with the fervor of a wildfire sweeping through a desolate pine forest.
An internal summons beckons for you to rouse and claim your rightful position as a cherished child of God, reveling in the fullness of life. To perceive Him not as a stern judge but as a loving father, recognizing His yearning to experience life through you, just as you long to experience it through Him. This realization elevates a person’s life to a noble existence.
Saint Irenaeus eloquently proclaimed, “The glory of God is man fully alive.
God takes immense pride in you, unaffected by your struggle to perceive His true nature. He is your confidant, having navigated the same agonizing situations and metaphorically taken a bullet for you.
If you truly knew Him as He is, you would desire to spend time with Him, forging a deeper connection. The key to understanding Him lies in immersing yourself in His word and attentively listening to your heart. While the Bible serves as a guiding principle, God reveals Himself through diverse channels – a song, a friend’s words, a movie, a sunset – all contributing to the bestowal of just a little part of His heart so He can reveal Himself to you. God desires relationship, to experience life though you as you do through Him, and to comunicate with you through all sorts of avenues.
Take a moment to get to know Him better, and you’ll discover His playful nature, strategic plans, and various aspects of His story that go beyond conventional teachings. We are immersed in a passionate love story, with each of us playing a vital part in its unfolding.
Time is limited, and things are becoming incredibly unusual and extremely challenging.
You are being summoned for this exact moment.
Rise up and embrace the hero within you that you were destined to be.
