THE “WAY”-
Did you know the first Christian movement was called “The Way”? The term “Christian” as a title didn’t come about until around 100 AD, and some historians believe it was a derogatory term to belittle those following Christ. This label appears several times in the book of Acts and eventually was adopted by believers as a banner of glory rather than a symbol of exploitation
Personally, I love the title “The Way”;
Since Jesus proclaimed He was ‘the way’, that movement invokes a distinct calling, suggesting a focused direction leading us into an unseen, mystifying journey with Devine intentionality, drawing us into a journey filled with intimacy, beauty, and adventure.
“The Way” also implies a mysterious journey into the unfamiliar, meaning that choosing this path requires effort to understand its workings and to fully grasp its inherent attributes. It signifies set boundaries and borders, established for direction, confidence, and safety. Although the journey is unfamiliar it is not uncharted.
I read that the gate into “the way” was narrow, but attainable.
Let’s think about this for a minute. If you are going to contemplate changing your whole lifestyle it might be advisable to, well, weigh out “the way”…although the price of admission is free once your eyes are opened you hunger for soooo much more and that my friend will cost you … everything, …but the ROI (return on investment) is absolutely astounding!
This paramount decision has the potential to transform a person’s life from survival status to superhero, and the cool factor is that it is not as hard as some would lead you to believe; in fact it is basically a disciplined shift in your belief system that makes this lifestyle attainable.
It comes down to rewriting on your heart. Your heart contains your belief system; every decision that you make is filtered through your belief system. Your belief system is comprised of your collective experiences, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

It is an amazing science book that has led to many a discovery. It is a book of poetry and metaphors. It is even a fantastic guide to set your moral compass even if Christianity isn’t your thing.
While that may be true those truths do not capture the essence of this divinely inspired collection or the primary intention of the author.
It is true the facts are all there, but to read it to just gain information is missing the true intent and short selling the intended romantic power of these passages. Like reading an IRS form all the facts are there but there is no heart to the individual story. Just to find out the text, what is written is so far below the magical power of this manuscript.

God is good and His intention for you is abundant life – Unfortunately, those intentions are opposed. We are at war.
This is an adventure that exceeds all other exploits. You may be thinking that this is preposterous, that you are just a – housewife, worker, man / woman / youth just living life trying to get by, but whether you can see it or not there is an enemy set in array against you.
The entrance into this adventure is absolutely free! The advantages are amazing! The privileges are astounding! The rewards are massive!
In order to operate in the fullness of your innate privilege as a child of God you have to recognize certain filters and boundaries installed within the perimeters of this narrow God given path.
The reward of this path is the prosperity found in Deu 1: 1- 13 and the anointing found in Is 61, Luke 4:18.
Some of those obstacles are placed there by the enemy, some are placed by God, most are placed there by YOU.
They have been placed there to keep the children’s bread away from the wicked, greedy, and unbelieving.
Take heart, the Spirit of Grace has been dispatched to lead you into how to recognize, address and dispel all of these obstructions.
